Biscuits and Gravy: Life is Good!

Backstory

Nothing symbolized the warmth and hominess of our family holiday traditions more than my mother placing that huge ceramic bowl of biscuits floating in turkey gravy on the dining room table. It was a tradition that, for some reason, gave us all a feeling of being safe and comfortable. It warms me inside just to recall those many bowls of biscuits and gravy of my youth.
