Six-Word Memoirs with SMITH Mag

Christmas Eve Carp Soup in Prague

Backstory

Christmas Eve 1996 found us traveling with our daughter in the Chec Republic and staying in a Bed and Breakfast. We had told the owner that we would eat in town in Prague, but the rainy cold weather brought us back to the B&B early without supper. The employees had just had their Holiday Party and the owner invited us in to eat the leftovers - carp soup a traditional Christmas Eve meal! It was suprisingly delicious and very welcome.
