Unwittingly ordered steak tartare in Paris

Backstory

Very young studying in France. Parents took me to 5-star Paris restaurant. I ordered. They said, "Are you sure?" I put on best face. "Yes". It was a shock, but delicious. Haven't had steak tartare in the 43 years since!
