50th Birthday, Ritz Carlton 50th Anniversary
Backstory
On its 50th anniversary of opening, Boston's Ritz Carlton restaurant recreated its gala dinner to anyone who was born on that opening day (as validated by SS card). Quite unknowingly, I was there that day and was honored quite handsomely with the over-the-top meal and lots of ruffles and flourishes. Once in a lifetime, indeed!
