Six-Word Memoirs with SMITH Mag

Whole turkey, pecan pie, for two.

Backstory

I was in college, and trying to impress my new boyfriend with my cooking. However, I'd never cooked a whole meal before! I lit the candles, and the two of us sat down to a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, that would have fed an army! But I guess I impressed him, because in a few months we will be celebrating 40 years of eating meals together!
