Six-Word Memoirs with SMITH Mag

360 skid, semi truck, car stopped

Backstory

I was on my way to work and had our three children in the car as I drove to the sitters. It was January in Michigan and going down a hill, I hit an icy spot. I totally lost control and the car spun around, bumping from curb to curb, until it was again heading down the hill. I stomped on the brake, stopping right at the edge of the cross street at the bottom of the hill. As we stopped, a semi truck lumbered by. Had we been hit by the truck, I'm sure our three children and I would have been killed.
